NoHo’s Class of 2018 Makes Its Final College Choices — Congratulations to All!

We can’t be any prouder of iLEAD NoHo’s Class of ’18’s matriculation choices… Thank you to our faculty, staff, parents and iLEAD Schools for your steadfast support!

For a small charter high school, we’ve made our mark in the world of four-year colleges in a very short time. Our past two graduating classes are attending a wide array of colleges, including Columbia, Brown, Wellesley, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Bryn Mawr, Reed, Pomona, UCLA, Skidmore, Dickinson, Sarah Lawrence, Howard, and so many others.

Ninety-one kids in our Class of ’18 received 510 college acceptances within 180 colleges and universities throughout North America. Its alphabetical matriculation list follows, but here are some of its most interesting highlights:

  • Most popular choice – UC Santa Barbara (5 seniors)
  • Longest distance from home – Bennington College (2,488 miles), closely followed by Jacksonville University (2,438 miles)
  • Most selective private college – Yale University
  • Most selective public university – UC Berkeley
  • Most surprising last-minute switch on May 1 – UCLA to Vassar College
  • Early Decision – Claremont McKenna College, Washington University in St. Louis, Yale University, Occidental College
  • Smallest college – Bennington College (700+ kids)
